Noisy Qubit

A Monte carlo solver for a single qubit channel with classical noise. The numerics are compared against analytic Born-Markov approximations and it is shown that non-Markovian effects can lead to channel oscillating between being entanglement preserving and entanglement breaking.

Quantum Backflow

Simulations of a particle in one dimension demonstrating quantum backflow. Backflow is a general phenomenon in dispersive waves where energy flows in opposition to the direction of propagation. In quantum mechanics this effect manifests as the probability and mass of a particle transiently flowing in opposite directions.
